Jeff was a wonderful, loving father to Steven and grandfather to Virginia and Hudson. He had a terrific sense of humor always laughing and joking. The picture of 4 generations of Normandin men is when Steven was a month old. He was so proud of Steven. Jeff will be missed by many and a great loss to all who knew him.

Mark and I are heartbroken to hear of Jeff's passing. We have so many fond memories of him when we were younger. I lived on Mountain Rd between Jeff and Ed. It was always an experience. They would run up and down the road to each other's house (Ed always in bare feet even in the winter). If they wanted me to come out, they would make the standard "wild animal call", or Jeff would yell "hey Chicken Pot Pie". I still don't know why he called me that. Wonderful memories that I will always cherish.
Mark says that, to this day, he never laughed harder than when he was with Jeff. All the camping and fishing at Goose Pond with Jeff and Ed. Oftentimes the trips would included Jeff's father and grandfather. It feels like a lifetime ago, but the memories are still strong. Mark found a couple of pictures of Jeff at Goose Pond from the 80s.
Back in 2003 Mark and I were at the Whitehouse in BSpa and decided to pay Jeff a "surprise" visit, at about midnight (Carol, very sorry for the interruption). At first he was shocked to see us but within a few minutes we were laughing and reminiscing.
Our sincere condolences to the Normandin family. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

29 years of pure bliss, as I write this, I just want you to know, Jeff, That you are the best. I will love you till the end of time. As you're my partner, my best friend and everything that goes in between. I have too many memories to share on this page. But the best memory I have is walking down the aisle to say, I do to you, my Love... till we meet again. Your loving wife. Carol.

Chasing me on your bike, throwing snowballs at each other. Playing matchbox cars and you were the “boss.” Passing notes under the bathroom door, jumping off the rope swing at Spier Falls and riding on your dirt bike. Those memories and so much more! Last thing you said to me “I’ll see you later,” And I’m telling you now, yes you will!! I am so going to miss you beyond words. Till we meet again

To those who knew Jeffery Scott Normandin, my deepest condolences for your loss.
I remember Jeff from the beginng as a babe in his cot. He was the most wonderous
thing I had ever seen. I was only just over a year old myself, but I loved him from the
moment I met him.
Once, as a toddlers living in Springfield, mom tried to show us the fog outside.
She had to lift Jeff up so he could see over the windowsill. It was dark and the streetlight
outside our house showed the mist. " No not frog Jeff.....fog!"
We moved to Glens Falls when he was a little over a year old. We lived upstairs in one of those old
houses that had been divided into two.
We had good times. Jeff was always coming up with things to do. We made mud pies
in the driveway and yes it was more fun throwing them at each other. We would sneak up
the road to this house that had a pipe rail running along it's drive. We would do flips while hanging on
to the rail. Until mom found out.
One Christmas I was given a red bike with training wheels. Jeff got a bright blue peddle
car with red and white stripes down it's sides. I was so jealous! We would race up and down
the sidewalk. He would always win!
We moved into the house that Dad built, that we called the big house, in the spring before Jeff's 5th birthday.
We loved the new house. We had spent nights playing with 2x4's and nails wile Mom and Dad put up the frames
for the walls.
Throughout the years Jeff always had ideas on new things to do.
There were apple trees to climb and pretend we were pilots. Hide and seek morphed into Bang Bang.
We played under the sprinkler and dared each other to stay standing in a bucket of 40f water that came from our tap.
Winters were spent building card houses and roads for our matchbox cars. We made snowmen and snow caves.
One year a thin layer of ice formed over the snow. Step.. step...then a leg would break through the ice and leave us
laughing hysterically at the suddenness of it.
One bright idea..."Lets climb out the second story widow and walk around the roof to look in the windows!"
We got into so much trouble.
We used to ride our bikes in the Moreau Park across the street.
One summer while racing down his favorite long hill Jeff hit a slow moving
VW and flipped right over the top of it.
The headline in the local paper read "Boy Hits Car".
Camping was a big part of my childhood and Jeff's life. He loved the woods, campfires, the lakes, rivers,
BBQ's and night skies. He grew to love fishing and hunting, but as young boy he would rather catch
salamanders and bullfrogs.
He was always making me laugh. He liked to make people happy. There was one night that Jeff called me
outside and presented me with a jar of fireflies. How he caught them I still don't know.
"Stars in a Jar" he said.
I think the happiest I had ever heard him was informing me of the birth of his son Steven. He couldn't
stop talking and giggling. He loved his family and especially his grandchildren Virginia and Hudson.
You all made him as happy as I know he made all of you.
Though it could be years between our communications, it would be only moments for us to reconnect.
He was so easy to talk to and always there when someone needed him.
My beautiful little brother has passed. With him goes a part of me, but in me there will always be a part of him.
I miss you Jeff. You made the world a better place.
With all my love,
Kelly
