Obituary of Nicholas Joseph Isele

SARATOGA SPRINGS –

Nicholas (Nick) Joseph Isele, 51, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2025, surrounded by his loving family and friends at his side after a long, courageous battle. Nick truly understood that it is more rewarding to give rather than to receive, and he was a steadfast and loyal husband to Jennifer and a supportive, caring father to Ben, Grant, and Griffin.

Nick lived his life with a determination that inspired all who knew him. He simply never gave up. He believed in showing up — always — no matter the obstacles or the circumstances. His loyalty was unmatched, and his presence was a steady source of comfort to those who were fortunate enough to call him a friend, partner, or family member.

He gave everything he had to those he loved, especially his three boys, showing through both action and words that no challenge was too great, no road too difficult. His commitment to the people in his life was unshakeable, and it was evident in the countless ways he demonstrated his love: from coaching his boys in basketball, to his constant encouragement of them, to sharing his advice of, “Always be you!” no matter what they encountered in life. Those words will guide them always.

Nick had been employed by Secur-Serv since 2010 where he was a Manage Print Service Sales Specialist, known for his genuine interest in doing the right thing for his customers and superior work ethic. He is a graduate of Saratoga Springs High School, attended the University of West Virginia, and graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from the State University of New York at Oneonta where he was a member of Beta Chi fraternity.

Nick leaves behind many who feel his loss with heavy hearts. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Jennifer, his beloved children Benjamin (Ben), Grant, and Griffin, his parents Dr. Frank and Rosemary Isele, his sister, Dana Isele, and his brother, Frank A. Isele. Nick had several nieces and nephews: Sofia Figliomeni, Christien Figliomeni, Anthony Isele, Jack Figliomeni, Maria Isele, and Gabriella Luck. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Mass celebrating Nick’s life will be held at 11:00 am on April 9, 2025 at St. Clement’s Church, 231 Lake Ave., Saratoga Springs, NY 12866. Immediately following the service, a repast will be held at 605 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
