Obituary of Mark Rokjer
WATERVLIET –
Mr. Mark Rokjer, 71, of Watervliet, passed away suddenly at home from a cardiac episode on March 8, 2025.
He was born on July 29, 1953 in Troy, New York. A son of the late Joseph and Catherine Rokjer.
Mark attended and received his education from Lansingburgh High School, where he would meet Patricia, (his high school sweetheart and wife of 48 years) whom he married on January 7, 1977 in Troy, New York.
Mark was a welder and steel fabricator for many years and after retiring for a few years returned to work at Arcadia Manufacturing Co. Mark loved the outdoors. He was happiest in the woods with a campfire going, a beer in his hand and his dogs by his side.
In addition to his devoted wife, Mark is survived by many extended family members and his special canine friend, Beth. He was predeceased by his parents.

In keeping with Mark’s wishes, his remains were cremated and there will be no calling hours or formal funeral service. Cremation Arrangements were entrusted to Simple Choices, Inc., 218 2nd Avenue, Troy, NY 12180.
