Obituary of Terry Renita Walker
COHOES –
Terry Renita Walker, 63, of Cohoes, formerly of Queens, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2025 in the comfort of her own home, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on October 19, 1961 in Queens, New York. A daughter of Lindsay and Thelma Davis. Terry was raised in Queens, NY and then later moved to Troy, NY and recently resided in Cohoes NY.
She received her education from Andrew Jackson High School and ICE Culinary School. Terry was a dedicated Home Health Aid for All Metro Health Care, providing compassion and care to those who needed it.
Terry will be forever remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, wife, sister, and aunt. She had a sweet, loving, and generous nature. Terry loved to cook, bowl, and shop, but above all she loved her family and had an unwavering faith in God.
Terry leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted husband Michael Walker, whom she married on September 2, 2021 in Troy NY. Also surviving are her beloved children: Timothy Lewis (Brittni) and Carly Davis. She was the cherished grandmother of Natalie Walker and Elliot Lewis, and dearest sister of Linda, Dennis, Darren, Larry, Sheila, Evangelina, and Felicia. A host of nieces and nephews also mourn the loss of their beautiful aunt.
In addition to her parents, Terry was predeceased by her sister, Selina, and brother, Lindsay, Jr.
Cremation Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Simple Choices, Inc., 218 2nd Avenue, Troy, NY 12180. A Celebration of Terry’s life will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
