Obituary of Martha A. Elwood
GUILDERLAND –
Martha A. Elwood, 78, of Guilderland, NY and formerly of Crescent City, FL, passed away February 7, 2025 after a recent illness. She was born December 10, 1946 in Francestown, NH.
Martha is the daughter of Raymond Cilley and Barbara Leland Cilley. Both of whom predeceased her. Martha was also predeceased by her husband William F. Elwood, Jr. and sister Betty Parker.
Martha is survived by her 3 children, Deborah Elwood (Thomas Seary) of Norwich, NY, William Elwood of Norwich, NY and Raymond Elwood (Sarah Jones) of Albany, NY. Grandchildren: Kaylee, Michael, Stephen, Andrew, Carter and William. Great grandchildren: Westlynn, Walker, Graycen and Madelyn. Siblings: Nancy McDougall of Alexandria, VA, Dennis (Ruth) Cilley of Peterborough, NH, Sharon (Wayde) Strickland of Greenfield, NH, Raymond (Elizabeth) Cilley of Greenfield, NH and Jeanne (Frank) Zarba of Tyngsboro, MA and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Albany Medical Center that provided excellent care for Martha and support for the family.
Cremation has taken place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc. Interment of her Ashes will be at a later date within the Riverside Cemetery in Milford NH at the convenience of her family.
