Obituary of Arthur Roger Whipple, Jr.

May 28, 1950 ~ February 23, 2025

Son of the late Arthur and Edna Whipple passed away on Sunday, February 23rd, 2025 at Glens Falls Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born in Saratoga Springs on May 28th, 1950.

Arthur served in the United States Navy as an E3 Seaman.

Arthur loved playing drums. He played with many various local bands over the last 50 years. Arthur was an avid hunter. He loved hunting with his two son-in-laws, Michael and Kirt.

Arthur loved his Saturday night car show club get together with some special people in his life.

For the last 20 years Arthur was a parts delivery guy for VI Enterprises along side some of his long time friends.

He is preceded in death by his loving parents and his best friend and son-in-law, Michael Nappi.

He is survived by his loving wife, Roxanna Whipple of Corinth, N.Y.

His siblings, John (Sheri) Whipple of Corinth, N.Y., Mae-ann (Charlie) Wilson of Ballston Spa, Benjamin (Jackie) Whipple of Ballston Spa.

His son, Arthur Brust from Saratoga Springs; his step children, Tammy Plati, Ballston Spa, Darlene (Kirt) Nappi from Hadley, Luzerne Melanie Vaghela, St. Cloud, Fla., Jason Beagle, Corinth, N.Y. and Travis Whipple.

He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and several forever friends.

Services are as follows: Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:30 a.m. at Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY, with a celebration of life immediately following at the American Legion, 34 West Ave, Saratoga Springs.
