Obituary of Alice E. Priester

SARATOGA SPRINGS –
 
Alice E. Priester, 102, of the Wesley Community in Saratoga Springs, formerly of Corinth, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Wednesday, December 18, 2024.
 
She was born on August 13, 1922 in the Town of Northumberland, NY (Saratoga County). Alice was the daughter of the late Earl Dearborn, Sr. and Ella (Osborne) Dearborn. Alice was a lifelong resident of Saratoga County having lived in Corinth, Greenfield Center and lastly Saratoga Springs. She attended Corinth Central Schools.
 
Alice worked several jobs through her adult life. Some of which included: The Corinth Shirt Factory, Woolworth Department Store, Foot Locker, Price Chopper, to name a few. She retired from Kraft/General Foods after several years of service.
 
Warmly remembered as a very caring person. Alice liked to travel, she enjoyed gardening and living her best life. After retiring, she even was a caregiver and volunteer as hospital front desk receptionist.
 
Alice married the late William Priester on February 20, 1972 in Saratoga Springs.
 
Surviving Siblings include: David Dearborn (Jane), Minnie Comrie.
 
In addition to her parents and her husband, Alice was predeceased in death by her siblings: Elizabeth Van Guielder, Lila Coval, Gladys King, Earl Dearborn Jr. and William Dearborn.
 
In keeping with Alice’s request there will be no viewing or funeral services.
 
A Celebration of her life will be held at a later date at the convenience of her family.
