Obituary of Robert N. Paquette
CLIFTON PARK –
Mr. Robert N. Paquette, 83, of Clifton Park, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 6, 2024, at the Schuyler Ridge Residential Health Care Center in Clifton Park, New York.
Known as Bob by his family and friends, he was born on June 10, 1941 at the former Leonard Hospital in Troy, NY and spent most of his life in Waterford, NY. Bob graduated from Waterford High School in 1960 and served in the United States Army from 1963 to 1965. Bob then worked at the former Mohawk Paper Mill for 42 years.
His passion for the New York Yankees, New York Giants and fishing began as a child and never waned as an adult. Many of his days of retirement were spent at the convergence of the Hudson River, Mohawk River and the Erie Canal in Waterford. Fishing was a priority and his favorite pastime.
Bob was a good man and loved by many, including the people who cared for him during the last year of his life.
He is survived by a brother, William Paquette (Angela) of Ballston Lake, NY and a sister, Marianne Brennan of Hendersonville, TN. He leaves behind two grandsons and several nieces.
We wish to thank Schuyler Ridge Residential Health Care for their wonderful care of Bob over the past year and special thanks to: Rose, Joanne and Nancy for making him feel at home and taking him into their hearts.
There will be no public services, and he will be interred privately at the Gerald B. H. Solomon - Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville, New York.
