Obituary of Margaret Doris Ingham

NIVERVILLE –
 
Margaret Ingham (Maggie) 78, of Niverville, NY Margaret Ingham, known to all as Maggie, passed away peacefully at home on December 4th, 2024.
 
She was born in Hudson, NY, to Doris and Osborne Mabb on May 13th, 1946. A graduate of Ichabod Crane High School, Margaret worked for many years at Jamesway and Mario's, where she formed lasting friendships. Maggie was a devoted mother to her daughter Brenda (as well as most of the neighborhood) and a loving wife to her late husband Richard.
 
She will be fondly remembered for her love of cooking, especially her famous "Hotdog Soup," a favorite of everyone who had the pleasure of trying it. Maggie also had a passion for finding treasures at yard sales and enjoyed birdwatching, particularly for cardinals.
 
Margaret is survived by her daughter, Brenda Izzo; siblings Donna Stoddard, Tess Clark, and Brian Mabb; grandson Joseph Izzo (Brittany Myers) and their son Elias; granddaughter Morgan Izzo (Kris Hudson) and their children Joseph and Eloise. She is also survived by many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Doris and Osborne Mabb, her husband Richard Ingham, son-in-law Joseph Izzo, granddaughter Shauna Izzo (Rob Dandridge), and siblings Linda Dedrick, Osborne Mabb Jr., Elmer Mabb, Joe Mabb, and Karen Buffa.
 
A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring, with details to follow.
