Obituary of Michael Joseph OBrien
QUEENSBURY –
Michael Joseph OBrien, 71, of Queensbury, NY, formerly of Meriden, CT, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at Glens Falls Hospital in Glens Falls, NY.
Born on April 8, 1953 in Meriden, CT, he was the son of the late David and Dorothy OBrien.
Michael was raised in Meriden, CT, where he received his education and graduated from O. H. Platt High School, Meriden, CT. He has since resided in the Capital Region of Upstate, NY and lastly Queensbury in the North Country at the time of his death.
Mr. OBrien retired from Bell Phone Company and also from the State of New York following 20 years of service.
Survivors include one daughter, Erin OBrien of Albany, NY, as well as his siblings and their spouses: Theresa (Vincent) Fischer of Ft. Edward, NY, James OBrien (Sharon) of Queensbury, NY.
In addition to his parents, Michael was predeceased by his wife, Susan OBrien.
Cremation has taken place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc. There will be no calling hours or funeral service. Michael will be laid to rest privately at the convenience of his family.
