My heartfelt condolences to John's family and many friends. I am a lifetime birder of 78 years and this is where I have known John. So many Hudson-Mohawk Bird Club activities, chasing rare birds, and following each other's bird reports. He will be sorely missed and remembered for his friendship, talents, and many contributions to ornithology.
