Obituary of Charlie Grace Cooper
TROY –
Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, once said to his disciples:
"Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God" (Luke 18:16).
On May 31, 2024, the beloved daughter of James Fenimore Cooper IV and Kathryn Conway Farnam, was safely called home to be with Jesus.
In addition to her parents, Charlie Grace is survived by her older sister, Olivia Maureen “Mo” Cooper, her maternal grandparents: Kevin and Sharon Farnam, her paternal grandparents: James Fenimore Cooper III and Laura Beth Brizzie. Her aunt Erin Farnam, uncle Dylan (Kathleen) Farnam, and cousins: Emlyn and McKenzie. One great aunt, Patricia Marsceill also survives.
Charlie Grace, named after a beloved uncle, was born six weeks early on March 24, 2024 and resided with her family in Troy. Although her life here on earth was brief, her personality will be warmly remembered and is described as being affectionate, patient, kind, happy, passionate and even wise. Charlie Grace loved her sister and complimented her exuberant nature. Her presence is missed dearly.
Cremation has taken place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc. Relatives and Friends are invited to visit with her family on Saturday, June 29, 2024 from 1-3PM in the Chapel of Simple Choices, Inc., 218 2nd Avenue (corner of 104th Street) Troy, NY 12180, where a memorial service will be held at 3 o’clock in the afternoon with Deacon Bob Sweeney officiating.
