I'm so glad to get the chance to offer my sympathy and prayers to everyone. I wish I could be at the funeral, but am challenged with my own health issues that keep me from traveling.
I am Arlene's 1st cousin. We lived next door to each other until about 1953 when my family moved to Homestead St. in Albany. My mom, Peg Kirk, was the big family party giver , so Arlene was up at our new home often growing up. I was so pleased to see and help Arlene recently at Billy Leary's funeral.
She was a great lady who loved her children. Be at peace and enjoy all those Schaller's in Heaven. You will all be in my prayers.
Love,
Nancy Kirk-Barkman

I miss you so much Aunt Arlene. You had a saying or a poem for everything. You were brilliant and cheerful no matter what. You always cracked me up. I loved our special times together. My heart is broken but I am happy for you that you are free. I love you forever,
