Obituary of Paul J. Hildreth, Sr.
TROY –
Paul J. Hildreth Sr., 75, of Troy, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2024 in the comfort of his own home.
The son of the late John J. Hildreth Sr. and Mary F. (Bowers) Hildreth, Paul was born on March 11, 1949.
Mr. Hildreth was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He received an honorable discharge for his faithful service. Mr. Hildreth retired after many years of employment with the Watervliet Arsenal. Paul will be fondly remembered as an avid train collector and the love he had for his little dogs.
Survivors include his wife, Wendy, his son Paul J. Hildreth, Jr., and siblings: John J. Hildreth Jr. (Barbara) Rose Ann Hildreth and Mary Beth Hildreth. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, as well as grandnieces and grandnephews. In addition to his parents, Paul was predeceased by Wayne J. Hildreth (April).
Cremation has taken place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc.
A private burial with military honors will take place within the Gerald B.H. Solomon – Saratoga National Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
