My dearest sister in law Laurie you were such a beautiful person, inside and out. I only knew you a short time, but in that short time, you had my heart, boy did you make me laugh!! You were sweet, funny, kind, caring, all rolled into one phenomenal person. I love you Laurie, and I will keep your beautiful laugh tucked away in my heart until we meet again ❤️

My dear cousin Laurie you were always a joy to be around im saddened that your life was cut short ; I’m glad we were able to reconnect over the last few years if only though text messages it was a blessing to have that small connection ; I’m glad you are at peace now RIP you are loved by all and will be dearly missed

Anyone who knew laurie knew she was NOT shy. And I’ll leave that right there. I remember a lot of funny moments with her just putting it all out there being care free and being her authentic self. It always made me and many others laugh. She played a big part in my life. She was in the hospital room when I was being born. I lived with her during the first sixth months of my life. She was there to show me the ropes of womanhood . She was comfortable talking about allll the things. Even when my mom was a little more on the conservative side. Ha. I learned a lot from her. She was a very resilient woman with a whole lot of strength. She will be tremendously missed and I can’t really believe she’s gone. It’s weird going over to my moms house and she’s not there, even though she only lived there a short time. She left her mark on me - that’s how it’s supposed to be. Grief just means you loved someone - you cared. It was mutual. She loved me too. She told me so on her last days. Fly high beautiful. You were too beautiful for this earth anyway. Love -your favorite niece lol just kidding (no but seriously) I love you aunt Laurie . Forever and ever babe. It was so special to spend your last moments with you. I know how much you appreciated it and I’m eternally grateful for the opportunity to have been able to have done so. .

My dear friend of almost 60 years we have spent many of them with cheers, tears, fears, laughs, smiles, pain and so much more. As time went by we have been apart and together for various reasons but you were always in my thoughts and heart. I was very honored to spend some time with you on the last journey of your life. Words cannot express how much I miss you, Laurie. It still does not seem real that you are gone. You were such a wonderful and caring person. You fought a difficult battle for the past few years, but you never gave up. Now it’s time to fly with the angels and reunite yourself with our loved one’s up in the beautiful blue sky above.
