I only knew Nancy for a short time. We still own horse together. She loved her horses, that is without a doubt. She bought into Moonsurge, a 2yo colt by Malibu Moonshine out of Storm's Advance, who is a graded stakes producer. Moonsurge is a half to 2 stakes horses, one a graded stakes winner. Nancy knew opportunity when she saw it!! The other is a yearling filly by Malibu Moonshine out of Kinsail Away. Nancy asked me to name the filly, "My last Dutchess", which I will fully intend to do. I hope that this brings some happiness to Nancy. RIP Nancy, I feel sad that we lost you. I will do my best to get your horses to the races. If someone wants to contact me regarding Nancy's horses, I can be reached at 631-334-6525. David

Nancy was a boated at a marina I managed in Bolton Landing and she loved Lake George. She would always take time to stop at my desk and say hello. I thought she was always friendly and an interesting person and we kept in touch over the years. I want to extend my heartfelt sympathy to all her friends and family.
Sincerely, Terry Ryan

I've known Nancy for many years as the person who groomed her beloved dogs. First was Max, her Westie and later Murphy and Sully. She was a kind and caring person who took great care of her animals and all animals who were in need. I will miss my friend, who always seemed to look for the good in every situation. Rest in Peace Nancy

Lessons from Nancy:
Sewing clothes allows you to have EXACTLY what you want.
Baking is an art; don’t always follow the recipe.
Sometimes it is necessary to fight for those unable to do so for themselves.
Open your heart to animals who need you.
Enjoy nature; it is a real gift.
Follow your passion, even when it takes a while to come together.
Be brave, especially when it scares you.
Live large…don’t wait to start your bucket list.
Nancy traveled, modeled, worked with race horses, adopted animals, and generally lived her life on her own terms. Enjoy the daffodils, Nance!
