Obituary of Philip Wayne Michalski
Philip Wayne Michalski was born May 22, 1958 and passed away suddenly on January 30th, 2014. He was 55 years old and resided for most of his life in Feura Bush New York. He is survived by his brothers Steven Michalski, Mark and wife Sue Michalski and their children: Alisha, Kristen, and Stephanie. He is also survived by his brother Kenneth Michalski, his wife Casey along with their children: Deidre and sons Evan, Jared, Ian, Austin and Adrian Michalski. Philip also has a sister Sandra Michalski and her daughters Marrisa and her husband, Billy Rider and Sophia, and another brother Jason Michalski of Niskayuna. Philip was a student of Ravena-Coeymans Selkirk High School, class of 1976. He was an accomplished mechanic, carpenter, painter, and a boat builder. Perhaps his most treasured accomplishment was his love for all creatures great and small. With every life and every death Philip was greatly affected. He celebrated the joy of birth and gave his support to those that suffered from malady and grieved deeply with those in mourning. So to celebrate Philips life we are asking anyone who wishes to please make a charitable donation in his name to the: Kitten Angels of Delmar or Out Of The Pits, two animal rescue groups that aide and assist the animals that he had loved so dearly. The Church service will be held at the Jerusalem Reformed Church, 1433 Indian Fields Road in Fuera Bush and a gathering will be held afterwards at Pixies Tavern, 1368 Indian Fields Road, Feura Bush, Route 32 on February 6th, Church services to begin at 6 PM. Our condolences go out to the people that have been affected by his passing, sorrow is felt for all of those who would have met him in their future, he was a great man and will be sorely missed. Our thanks go out to all of those that have supported us in this time of grief, family and friends, and many of the organizations that have assisted us in this dark and sorrowful time.
Our greatest appreciation goes out to the Mattice family of Feura Bush for being there to support and love Philip for all of his life, especially the last few years which should have been his happiest, if not for the abrupt happenings which took his life. If he were here he would have said that the years coming would be the most treasured because he always looked to the future with optimism and hope, hope that he would find everything in life that he was looking for and for the happy times that would be coming.
We would like to thank everyone that has contributed to the services that were arranged to celebrate Philips life, without whom we would not be gathering in his memory.
And to Philip, our brother, uncle and friend may you rest in peace. We will love you and remember you always. There will always be an empty place in our lives but not in our hearts for you will always be there forever
