Obituary of Arnold J. Clark

Arni Clark passed away on Saturday March 30, 2013 at his home after a year long battle with lymphoma. Arni was born April 30th, 1962 to Howard J Clark and Dorena (Howard) in Plattsburgh, NY. Arni worked as a laboratory technician at CVPH in Plattsburgh, various places in Albany and most recently at Ellis Health Center in Schenectady. Arni loved being a lab tech and was well respected by his co-workers. Arni loved life. He was adventurous and loved to travel. Arni was a people person. He loved his family, friends and co-workers. Arni was a great baker and cook and loved sharing his creations with family, friends and co-workers. He enjoyed having people at the house so he could show off his culinary skills. Arni had a great sense of humor and loved to be the life of a party. Arni loved winter and especially snow. Arni loved animals and had several cats, dogs, ferrets, and salt water creatures. Arni is survived by his partner Eric Edwards, his maternal grandmother Noda Howard, his mother Dorena and step-father Robert Sayward, sister Katrina "Tina" and her husband Peter Evens, sister Melissa "Missy" and her husband Roger Smith, niece Jamie and her husband Mike LaBarge, niece Jennifer and her husband Curtis Seegars, niece Chelsey Smith Bourdon, his great nephew Matthew, great nieces Claire and Maya, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Arni is predeceased by his father Howard, grandparents Gilbert Howard Sr., Willard and Delia Clark, and several uncles. A Memorial Service for Arni will be held on Saturday, April 6th at the Lewis Fire Hall, Lewis, NY at 1 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A Memorial celebration for Arni will be held later this month (April) in Albany.
