Obituary of John E. Prime

BALLSTON SPA – John E. Prime of Ballston Spa passed away on April 6, 2023. John was born on July 1, 1944, in North Albany to the late Thomas and Henrietta Prime. Also preceding him in death were his sister Francis Williams, and brothers William and Thomas Prime. John was most proud of his 21 years of service with the Army Reserve and being a member of the American Legion Post 70 in Saratoga Springs. Leaving behind to treasure his memory are his wife of 56 years, Joan; beloved sons John Prime Jr. (Kristi) and Mike Prime (Cheri); his wonderful grandchildren Tucker, Tanner, Nik, Kellie, Isaac, Tobey and Vinny; his sister-in-law Sherri Byrne, brothers-in-law David Mann and John Williams; as well as several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc. Services to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family encourages you to donate to your favorite charity.
