Obituary of Marylou D. Erdman

NISKAYUNA~ Marylou Erdman of Niskayuna passed away peacefully and with loving family present on Tuesday January 24, 2017. Marylou was born in Worcester, Massachusetts on October 23, 1927, was married to Donald Erdman more than 60 years, and leaves two sons, John, who resides in Boston and Bill, in San Jose, CA. She made many lifetime friends at Cornell University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and Science, majoring in Latin and Mathematics. At Cornell, she was a member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority. She was a lovely and devoted wife and mother, and was involved in many community organizations including PanHellenic and PEO. Marylou had a passion for the arts including pastels, music, and singing, as well as being an avid bridge player. Marylou touched many around her with her kindness, wonderful sense of humor, and her always cheerful good nature. She made many new friends during her time at the Glen Eddy and leaves a lifetime of great memories for her friends and her two sons and their families. She will be missed by all that knew her. A memorial service will be conducted at 11a.m., on Friday, February 3, at the First Reformed Church of Scotia, 224 North Ballston Avenue, Scotia.
